Use Amazon Prime Pantry and never go to a grocery store again!!

Hey guys! Today I want to tell you about this awesome thing that I discovered call Amazon Prime Pantry! You can order things like food items, beauty items, etc. and have them shipped to your door for free once you fill up a whole box. My fiance made the mistake of not filling up the whole box and had to pay some for shipping, but still not too bad! I absolutely hate going to grocery stores and having to wait in line forever! Amazon Prime Pantry has changed my life and I hope it changes yours too! All you have to do is have an Amazon Prime account and then you go to Amazon Prime Pantry. It was so much easier getting the family to decide what to buy when we can all sit around a computer and just choose! In fact I know that if you have kids, you are going to love this! No more dragging your kids to the grocery store while they cut fits, no more kids gone wild, no more kids getting lost, etc.
I have attached some pictures below of what my fiance and I bought and it actually came in a huge box and was very well protected and organized!
This is how protected it was!! Bags of air to protect it during shipping!

Look how organized!!! Bonus--I got two 6 packs of Gatorade minis for $4 a piece (retail is usually around $6-$8).

Got these for an early Christmas gift for my mom as she loves Twizzlers! (106 individual Twizzlers for under $10--in fact $5.24).

A twelve-pack of Snack Pack Pudding for under $3

Every girl needs some Burt's Bees!! XD

Fiance's Christmas Gift for under $10 and you get two body-washes in it!

I'm a fatty and was craving some icing!! XD

20 pack of the Scooby-Doo Fruit Snacks. Don't judge but these are yummy!! ($3.99)

So check out Amazon Prime Pantry, you won't regret it!! :)

Get nice stuff on payment plans for the holidays!!!

Hey guys! So I know that many of you are probably struggling to get Christmas presents this year, I know the struggle, and I wanted to post this in hopes of helping some of you out. My fiance and I are struggling to get nice Christmas presents and with his low credit due to paying off a credit card bill, we don't have many options. We scoured the web so you don't have to and found some awesome sites that will let you get the items and pay for them as you go. We personally signed up for MDG as they mostly have electronics (TV's, Video Game Systems, etc.) and that is what my family is most interested in. I will also attach screenshots that I took of the sites home page! :) Hope y'all have a great Christmas!! (Also, note the Christmas colors)

Here's the awesome list:
  • Flexshopper
  • Stoneberry
  • MDG
  • Ginny's
  • QVC
  • Fingerhut

Influenster and free products!

Hey everyone! So I created a blog for women only called The Pink Room Blog (if you are a woman, you might want to check it out, link will be at the bottom of this post). This blog will remain the same and is available for everyone! Today I want to talk about my recent VoxBox through Influenster and how you can sign up to get free stuff too! I received these products for free in exchange for my honest reviews.

I liked all of the products that I received and they are not all pictured above as I don't have enough room. I also received some Dr. Teal's Epsom Salt, signed up for Ebates, tried some Yogi tea, and got a small sample of Micellar water. I loved all of the products that I received and I am sure that if you sign up, you will too!

Did you know that slavery still exists???

Hey guys! I was just learning about slavery in my United States History Class at college and when I was googling facts about slavery for a paper that I had to write, I was shocked to learn that slavery still exists in this world!! I was saddened by this fact as after reading about slavery and reading the book "Twelve Years a Slave", I was informed just how bad slavery was and how poorly treated the slaves were. A lot of the times, especially if you live in the U.S.A like myself, you don't give two thoughts about slavery happening now and are more then content with your comfortable life of showering every day, having electricity, having food on the table, having stores to shop at, etc. I have listed the link to a site, down below, that will take you to a site that informs you about slavery in the world today and is trying to make it stop. Feel free to share the page on Facebook, to donate to the cause, etc. if you are as shocked by this as I am! :) To give you a little insight into this, here is a paragraph from the site.

"WHAT IS MODERN SLAVERY?
Slavery did not end with abolition in the 19th century.
The practice still continues today in one form or another in every country in the world. From women forced into prostitution, children and adults forced to work in agriculture, domestic work, or factories and sweatshops producing goods for global supply chains, entire families forced to work for nothing to pay off generational debts; or girls forced to marry older men, the illegal practice still blights contemporary world.
According to the International Labour Organisation (ILO) around 21 million men, women and children around the world are in a form of slavery.
There are many different characteristics that distinguish slavery from other human rights violations, however only one needs to be present for slavery to exist. Someone is in slavery if they are:
  • forced to work - through mental or physical threat;
  • owned or controlled by an 'employer', usually through mental or physical abuse or the threat of abuse;
  • dehumanised, treated as a commodity or bought and sold as 'property';
  • physically constrained or has restrictions placed on his/her freedom of movement.
Contemporary slavery takes various forms and affects people of all ages, gender and races."

The above paragraph can be found on the sites homepage, along with ways to share the info and ways to help their cause. The site is called Anti-Slavery and their mission is:
"WHO WE ARE
Anti-Slavery International, founded in 1839, is the world's oldest international human rights organisation and works to eliminate all forms of slavery around the world."
To visit this site, please click on the following link--------> http://www.antislavery.org/english/slavery_today/default.aspx
It is a very sad world when we allow slavery to exist in any form at all! We are all humans and we all deserve to be treated properly not as property!! In my opinion, to treat someone properly is to allow them to live their lives as they see fit, to allow them to make a living for themselves, and to at least make sure that they have food, water, and shelter. I would not want to be someone's slave and enjoy being able to access my internet at my house and to work as a freelancer at home. I enjoy being able to go anywhere that I please within my budgetary limits. I enjoy getting paid for my work and using that money on food, my pets (my babies), and anything that I see fit. Slaves do not get treated properly at all and are more/less treated like livestock. I hope that within time we can eradicate slavery, every last bit of it, forever!

The pain and suffering of being a college student!

Recently I was talking to an older adult about how hard college is and that same adult laughed and said that "college isn't hard". I was taken aback and could not believe that this person who never attended college, let alone graduated high school, is going to sit here and tell me that "college is not hard" and that "poor grades are your own fault". I know a lot of adults out there think that poor grades are your fault, but really that is not the case! College is a lot of hard work, a lot of time losing sleep, a lot of studying and worrying if you know enough, a lot of getting up with professors because you are scared of your GPA or your major or something of that nature, and a lot of stress on top of stress. I would know this first hand as I currently attend a 2 year community college and I graduated from high school with decent grades, yet college is something that no schooling could prepare me for. My first example of how unfair and how awful college is, is my Biology class.... I spent weeks studying the notes, reading the book chapters, and reviewing up to the minute that I took the test and then the test literally had nothing to do with what the notes nor the book was about and I failed. I took this failure so hard that I literally was afraid for my future, my mind kept telling me "if you can't pass biology then you are an idiot". I eventually got up with other classmates and found out that they are struggling as well with the class. Another example of mine, would be when I was literally sick for 4 weeks straight and waiting as patiently as possible for my doctor to get openings as everyone was basically sick so I took Dayquil and Nyquil like a old woman drinks tea. My doctor finally had an opening and got me on some antibiotics and such and gave me an excuse for college. I had only one professor on campus (the rest online) so I gave him the excuse and he kept it for future reference. I got home and decided that I needed to send emails, check my homework, etc. only to find out that I was 5 days late on an assignment. I typed up that assignment with perfect grammar, followed the guidelines, etc and I turned it in. I also informed my professor of why it was late, as I had been knocked out for 4 weeks waiting to see my doctor. The professor does not get on to check email everyday and is weeks behind on grading, but of course she gets no punishment for this. I was extremely sick and she decides to give me a 40 with a snide remark about how I should of contacted her sooner. Well, if it was possible, I would of contacted you sooner but it was not! Either way I am stressing over this semester, but am thankfully working my butt off and catching up. All my other professors were really nice about it and understood that a flu bug had been going around and were really courteous with helping me catch up. I have improved my grades some, however I am still worried!!! :( I didn't give you these examples to whine but instead to give you some idea of how inconsiderate professors are! Honestly, the one professor was so behind on grading work that I still have stuff from 2 months ago not graded but I turn in an assignment 5 days late due to extended illness and all hell breaks loose.
So, my message in all of this is to consider what us college students go through in daily life, what our personal lives are like on top of work (I am a freelancer as well) and on top of family life. It is hard to keep good grades when you have to work to keep food in your stomach, gas in the car, and bills paid. It is hard to keep good grades when you are responsible for an aging parent (or at least helping them and running errands and such).

Excited for Halloween!!!

Hey guys!!! I am so excited for Halloween, like a little kid lol:) My only problem is deciding what to wear as all the costumes that they sell for women are slutty and/or awful. So I am building my own with a black skirt, black and white poka dotted old timey shirt that ties around your neck and behind your back or in the front, however you want it, and black knee high boots with chains on them...that will be my vampire outfit (plus a cape, fake blood, makeup, etc.).  I hope everyone is as excited for Halloween as I am!! :) I like to dress up to hand out candy, just because I can and I love this time of the year! So have fun and be safe!! XD :)

Happy Halloween Guys!!! 3:)

This Clown Business Needs To Stop!!!!

Hey guys! By now we have all probably heard about those stupid clowns that are running all around towns acting scary and the associated videos and rumors to go with them! My opinion--is that it is just a bunch of low-life punks who have nothing better to do with their time and would rather be bothering and scaring innocent kids and people. I am scared to death of clowns as my mommy had me watch that god-awful movie "IT" as a child and it scared me so bad that I  hate clowns to this day!!! So I have some advice for these "clowns":
1.) Quit dressing up and acting dumb and grow up already!!!!
2.) Do NOT be going around the South as you will get shot over your stupid games! We don't deal with bull-crap when it comes to children and people getting scared.
We shoot first and ask questions later!!
3.) You want to be a clown go join the CIRCUS!!!!!!!!
4.) Seriously, GROW UP ALREADY!!!

For all the women out there, listen to this period advice!! :)

Hey guys!! So this post is going to be all about period supplies, that dreaded time of the month can get easier!! I have found my period to be easier to deal with by:
1.) Taking Midol--Midol is a life-saver as I have awful cramps in my abdomen and back and can not function without this stuff during that awful time of the month.
2.) Using U by Kotex products--I have used this brand for a pretty long time and they have not failed me once! I have pretty heavy periods and these things do not leak!!! I use the tampons and liners during the day and a overnight pad and tampon at night. Also, you can try out samples of their products (as many as you want to sign up for on the U by Kotex site (https://www.ubykotex.com/en-us/).
3.) Knowing when your period will be here--This is really important for both avoiding embarrassing accidents and for making sure that you are stocked up and can avoid the wrath of not stocking up early. I use the period tracker on U by Kotex as it is free to sign up for and it is extremely accurate (called the Period Calculator on the U by Kotex site)!!
4.) Stacking up on some sweets, pajamas, and Netflix-- Finally, to avoid killing anyone while on your period, I suggest that you buy you some sweet candies, put on some comfy pajamas, and watch all you want on Netflix ( I suggest Vampire Diaries, Scrubs, The Originals, The Walking Dead, any romances, and comedies).

We all know that periods suck, but hopefully these tips can make it a little bit better!! :) Also, enjoy this picture that I found on Google and how accurately it describes periods!! :D

McDonald's App on Google Play!

Hey guys! If you have an android tablet or phone, go on the Google Play Store and download the McDonald's app. This app has saved me lots of money as it offers you coupons to use in your McDonald's and lets you save money off your order.
I have personally used this app a lot as it saves me money on burgers, fries, drinks and all! Just today my fiance and I used it and he saved money by getting a free drink and then I redeemed one where we got buy one quarter pounder, get 1 free! So in all we got a free drink and a free quarter pounder in one trip! I love this app already and have had it for about 3 weeks now. Also, it has this cool feature that anytime you buy a Mcafe beverage (iced coffee, coffee, frappe, etc.) and once you buy 5 you get one free! To redeem any coupons off the app (including to use the Mccafe drink thing, you have to take your phone in with the app pulled up and redeem your coupon).

Working at home and my recent makeup haul!!

Hey guys! Hope all is going well with y'all! I just worked about a month and a week for a work at home company called Appen and I got my first paycheck a few days ago. I have to tell y'all that this company is awesome to work for and my paycheck was pretty nice! I can't really give you too many details on it though as I am under a confidental contract, but y'all should definatly check out Appen for job opportunities as they are 1.)legit as they paid me for my work 2.) a great company to work for with great pay.
Another thing that I want to tell y'all about is my recent makeup haul that I made with my first paycheck!! It was a pretty awesome haul and I found some cheap products that are great!! Here's a list of some of the makeup I found, and ones that y'all should check out!!
  • Elf Daily Hydration Moisturizer
This moisturizer is awesome and it is lightweight and has purified water in it, has Jojoba in it, and has Vitamin E and cucumber in it as well. But that's not all! It also is rich in antioxidants with shea butter, grape, and orange. This is lightly scented and smells like Aloe to me and it worked really well for my extremely dry skin that was flaking with the way the weather has been! I highly recommend that you check this out as it is cheap and works really well!
  • Jordana Lipstick in Coral Flame--
This lipstick is awesome and I got it from Walmart for a really cheap price! In the picture on the left, I am wearing this color on my lips (probably can't see that well as for the sucky lighting) but I also put it on my wrist so that you can see what it looks like. It is a really pretty pink color and the lipstick itself smells really good (like strawberries!!). This is one of my favorite lipsticks ever and I highly recommend it as it is long lasting and the color is very pretty!
  • Elf Lip Exfoliator--
With cold weather approaching us too fast, it is important to try to keep chapped lips and dead skin to a minimum! I found this awesome product by Elf and it looks like a tube of lipstick but it is grainy and helps to remove dead skin and smooth your lips! I have used this twice so far with great results!! My lips kept having dead skin, and we all know how bad that makes lipstick look, and this fixed my problem! I highly recommend this for your chapped and dead-skin lips!

  • Elf Flawless Eyeshadow-I have this in Party Purple (for dressing up, going out, etc.) and in beautiful browns (I love all natural looks). It even tells you how to put it on to look good, if you don't like to experiment like me (it has a section for base, lid, crease, and line). I will put pictures of both party purple and beautiful browns down below, and I can tell you that they are beautiful palettes. I love both of the palettes that I own as they are creamy, long-lasting color, and go beautifully together. I highly recommend these for anyone on a budget who wants to look good!

    • Elf All Over Colorstick--I have this in Pink Lemonade and I adore the sweet pink color that it gives my cheeks! It looks really natural and girly, but that's not all you can use it for! You can use this for eye-shadow and for lip color as well! I also love the scent, which is citrus.

    • Jordana LOL Lipgloss-- This lip-gloss I got at Magic Mart and it is awesome! I got a light and natural color but they have all kinds!! The one I got is 110 and it is a shiny, light pink color that looks great on my light complexion. It isn't sticky, it has a pretty color, it is long lasting for a lip-gloss, and it smells sweet and like bubblegum.

    • Elf Eyelash Curler-- I had a really nice eyelash curler that I lost and so I found this one that costed me $3 and it works really great! Its not the prettiest thing to look at, but it does the job and saves me money! It comes in a clear, see-through box and has one replacement rubber to put in the curler part.

The truth about Social Anxiety!

These days everyone that I talk to has "social anxiety" but yet these same people are usually just nervous. Social anxiety is when you can't stand going out anywhere as you know that people will be there and will probably stare at you or try to talk to you, so you stay in your room. Social anxiety is when you are in class and the teacher talks about a presentation that you have to give in class tommorow and you purposely skip because you are so afraid of others judging you or you do it and you can feel yourself sweating and stuttering the whole time. I have had social anxiety for about four years--it started right after my father passed away--and I can't live a normal life like I want to. When I talk to people about my social anxiety, their responses usually range between: "just get over it", "you'll be okay", "you're just nervous", "everyone gets nervous sometimes", "why's it matter that they might judge you or stare at you", and so on. It's insane that people don't understand that with social anxiety you are literally scared of people--same as any fear like clowns, spiders, etc. It is not an easy thing to live with and several times I have missed school because I feel like I am going to be judged or stared at, I have to send my fiance in stores because I get so anxious in a store that I breathe fast and sweat like crazy and feel like I am dizzy, I skip presentations that I have to do, I can't make lots of friends as I don't like talking to people, I have to ask my fiance repeatably if I look okay so that I don't feel judged, etc. Everyone deals with their social anxiety in different ways, but for me the best way to deal with it is to go somewhere s with my fiance and when I get anxious I focus and talk to only him. If you have social anxiety and are tired of people not understanding it, feel free to comment and share this!! :)

Oh...College is fun?

Hey guys! So I was just wanting to talk about how in the world is college so fun in movies? A hard reality that hit me in the face real quick was that college is not fun at all! So I decided to list down below some reasons why college is not fun:

Image result for sleepy
  1. All those sleepless nights spent studying and worrying over a test to show up and find out that the test is really easy!!

Image result for failure grade
2.) All of those times that you forgot to study because life got in your way...maybe you had work, maybe you have kids, etc. and then show up to find out that the test is super hard and you make a bad grade...that you then stress about for a while...

Image result for stack of school books3.) You miss class for one day because you are sick, you overslept, or maybe you just didn't want to go for one day...and all hell breaks loose as you try to desperately catch up with what you missed (only like 4 tests, 100 pages of notes, and reading 10 chapters out of your book).

Image result for judgemental person4.) You have to sit beside people that you have never met in your life and some of those people won't quit staring at you or pretending they are better than you. I really love this one as I'm sorry that I don't put on tons of makeup, dress up, and such to come to a 1 hour class...I'm also sorry that your life sucks so bad that you have to do that and then judge others who don't.

Image result for one person in empty classroom5.) Sometimes your professors don't even show up and you came all the way to class for nothing....this especially sucks if you live off campus.

Image result for lots of money college books6.) You have to pay a heck of a lot of money out for books that you will probably rarely use for class and can only sell them for half of what you paid (if that!)

Image result for embarassed
7.) You have to stand up in front of the class a lot more often then in high school and give presentations...which for people like me who have social anxiety really sucks!!

So to all you high schoolers that I see complaining about school, please quit and enjoy it while you can!!

My Influenster Box:)

Hey guys! As you should know by now, I receive things for free (for my honest review) from a site called Influenster. I really encourage you guys to check out this site www.influenster.com

Tresemme FreshStart Dry Shampoo

I received a can of dry shampoo to try out this time:) It is the Tresemme Fresh Start Volumizing Dry Shampoo.
It comes in a black and bright yellow can and claims to Refresh and Revive hair without water, it also claims to have mineral clay in it to help volumize your hair. I used this dry shampoo one day when it was really hot outside and I felt gross (to say the least!) however since I was in the middle of doing stuff and was taking a shower that night, I decided to try out my Tresemme Fresh Start Volumizing Dry Shampoo. This dry shampoo did make the sweat disappear and I didn't feel oily, it didn't leave a white residue (make sure you follow the directions of shaking it and holding it a couple inches away), and it smelled nice and fresh. This helped me to get through the rest of the day without feeling all gross. The only downside is that it did not volumize my thin hair, which I was really looking forward too! I still give it 4 out of 5 stars because it didn't smell too bad and it did make me less oily/sweaty:) This is perfect for a quick fix of oil or sweat but not for volumizing your hair. I still highly recommend that y'all check out this dry shampoo:)

#PornKillsLove

Hey guys! Today I want to talk about a topic that I know a lot of you won't agree with but it is my opinion to give.
I support a site called Fight the New Drug--http://fightthenewdrug.org/
I highly suggest that y'all check out this site and maybe pledge to fight against porn! There are tons of facts about porn use and how it affects those that use it, today I am going to share some of the facts on the site.

http://fightthenewdrug.org/porns-dirty-little-secret/  ----This article talks about the dark side to porn! And one that y'all should check out!

"To viewers, pornography can appear a fantasy world of pleasure and thrills. To those who create and participate in making pornography, however, their experiences are often flooded with drugs, disease, slavery, trafficking, rape and abuse." <<one quote from the article!!

"I got the &*%$ kicked out of me …. Most of the girls start crying because they’re hurting so bad …. I couldn’t breathe. I was being hit and choked. I was really upset and they didn’t stop. They kept filming. [I asked them to turn the camera off] and they kept going. –Regan Starr [1]" << another quote from the article!!

Here is another article from the site, that y'all should check out!: http://fightthenewdrug.org/porns-harm-is-changing-fast/

To read more of the facts go to the website and click "Get the Facts".

**There are also tons of video's on the site about the #pornkillslove movement, the reasons behind the movement, facts about porn and porn use, and stories of people who have been affected by porn use (in one way or another, whether they were in the porn industry or they have been affected in one way or another due to porn). Some of the videos are informational and tell you about porn use and the effects it has. This site is really worthwhile to look into! It gives you info that most people don't know about porn and it really opens your eyes up to the darkness that surrounds porn and porn use.
