My Favorite School/College Supplies!!

Hey guys! I know that both school and college is about to start about and so I wanted to share with y'all some of my favorite school supplies!!
  1. Pilot G-2 Pens--These are my favorite gel pens of all time!! They write smoothly, are comfortable to write with, and the ink doesn't smear. You can get them in assorted colors or your classic black and blues at pretty much any store. I prefer the classic black for filling out paperwork and such, but the pretty assorted colors to take notes (Don't judge me lol, it makes it easier to pay attention to study!!). I will link my favorite place to buy school supplies into this, and you can get anywhere from a 2 pack in these pens to a 12 pack. I usually get the 2 pack because these pens last a pretty long time and they are only like $2.50. C lick here to go buy them!!
  2. Sharpie Highlighters-- I love Sharpie Highlighters because they come in bright colors and are smear proof. I have used these highlighters since middle school and highly recommend them because they last a pretty long time. I have used both the small neon ones and the larger ones so I will link them both.  To get the small neon ones for $5.75 (5 pack) click here! To get the bigger ones for $4.66, click here!
  3. Papermate Flair Felt Tip Marker Pen-- These pens are great for taking notes, because you can color code them and it makes them easier to study by attracting your attention. These are awesome because they do not bleed through the paper and they don't smear. You can buy an assorted color 12-pack from Walmart for $11.31 by clicking here
  4. BIC Extra-Strong Lead Pencils (Neon)--These lead pencils have stronger lead so less of that really annoying lead breaking!! These are a little pricey but I was satisfied with paying that much for them because they have stronger lead than the other brands, are neon color, and you get a 24 pack for the price (so they last you quite a while). You can buy them off Walmart for $16.41 by clicking here
  5. Five Star Reinforced Filler Paper (College Ruled)-- I discovered this paper in 12th grade of high school and wish that I had discovered it earlier!! This paper is such a life-saver, especially if you are like me and have your papers ripping out of your binder and falling out. This paper has like a plastic stuff around the punched holes so that it won't fall out and you can't rip it out!! It is more expensive than most of your other paper however, would you rather fight with your binder or not have to worry about it?!? You can buy this paper from Walmart for $5.68 for 100 pages by clicking here
  6. Post-it Flags plus highlighter-- I discovered this awesome invention in my freshman year of college and have loved it ever since! With one side of this you can highlight important things in your textbooks and notebooks while with the other side you can flag it (I would flag pages that I had to read or pages of my notes that I needed to study!!). You can buy it at Walmart for $5.29 by clicking here!
  7. Five Star Wirebound 3-Subject Notebook (College Ruled)-- This 3-subject notebook has 150-sheets in it and comes in a variety of colors (I have the light blue one). It has a sturdy poly cover, pockets for storage, and perforated pages for easy tearing out. You can buy these at Walmart for $6.52 by clicking here
  8. Weekly Planner-- Lastly, if you are going to succeed at school or especially college then you need to be organized and keep up with whats due and when! Walmart has tons of weekly planners to choose from...all in different colors, patterns, styles, sizes, prices, etc. Some of my favorites that I have found being this one <---click the "one" to go to it, this one, and this one.  <----- most of those planners are girly (sorry, but they were cute!). If I didn't link one that you like then feel free to go to and choose your own:)
So, that ends my list of favorite school supplies and to sum it up I like bright, useful, and pretty:) If you have any favorite school supplies, feel free to comment below by clicking "Comments" or "No Comments". Thanks for checking into my blog, hope that I helped you to discover some awesome school/college supplies! :)

Make some extra cash!!

Hey guys! So I am officially feeling a little bit better and decided to share with y'all how to make some extra money. If you are like me, then you could always use the extra money, and I have some sites for you to try out and see if you like them:
  1. Amazon Mechanical Turk-- With this site, you are basically considered a freelancer/contractor which means that you are responsible for your own taxes (Social Security and Medicare). Let me repeat----AMAZON WILL NOT PAY YOUR TAXES. Any money that you make will be paid directly to you and it is your responsibility to handle your taxes. I have not made enough money with this site to file taxes however, it is possible (it all depends on the amount of time that you spend doing these tasks!!). To sign up for Amazon Mechanical Turk click here. This is the best way to make money and I use it anytime that I have free time!! :)
  2. Selling stuff on Ebay-- I know that this isn't the best way to make extra money, but if you have stuff that you no longer use/need laying around the house, why not sell it for money? I have just recently started selling stuff on Ebay and I love it so far!! I get my money from my sales sent to my Paypal (feels safer that way) and from there you can either get it sent to you via check or send it to a linked bank account. I have made about $11.00 off of selling a pair of jeans that I outgrew, so give it a try!
  3.  OneSpace-- You can do work on this site, just like all of the others, although I just started on this site. I do not know how much you get paid for each task but I do know that you can take qualification exams to qualify for higher paid and more work. You can sign up here! The qualification exams are pretty hard in my opinion, so good luck!
  4. Freelancer-- This is a site for freelancers to find work! If you don't know what a freelancer is, it is someone who works on their own schedule and who is not hired for one company or another. You work for people and companies alike but are not directly employed, you can work from the comfort of your home, and usually the pay is pretty low. The people that hire you are not required to pay your taxes, like a job usually does, so you are responsible for paying Medicare and Social Security to a tax professional (and for doing all the necessary paperwork and researching to make sure that you are on time with your payments). You get your money directly, with no money taken out, and therefore it is your responsibility to budget your money towards taxes, expenses, and whatnot. What is left over after all of that is considered your profit from working:) You can google freelancing and find all sorts of information on the web about it, so feel free to do your own research. This site allows you to find work, to get paid for your work, to time how long you work with their app, and to take skills tests (you pay for out of pocket) to show off the skills that you possess (makes clients more confident when hiring you and they are more likely to pay you more).  If you are still interested in this site, then click here to go to the site and sign up.
  5. Upwork-- Is a lot like Freelancer but allows you to take free tests to show off your skills. Like Freelancer it allows you to download an app to track your time working (to make sure you get paid for the whole time). Same as with Freelancer,  you are considered a freelancer/contractor which means that you are responsible for your taxes! Before signing up for either of these you should do your research on what a freelancer is, what your job duties consist of, and what you should expect (and do).  If you would like to sign up with this site, then click here, once you are on the site click where it says become a freelancer!! :)
If you like writing have great grammar and punctuation skills, then I have two more sites that you can try out! They will pay you for writing articles!!
  1. Blogmutt-- I tried out this site and apparently my writing skills were not up to par, as my account got suspended (and I can no longer write for them!) They can suspend your account for any of three reasons including you break their rules, you have too many rejected articles (I had two and got suspended), and stuff like that. But, you can give it a try  (and hopefully it works for you:) ) and see what happens! :) You mainly write about certain topics that people put up and then they choose between the submissions on their favorite. Go here to sign up and click become a writer!!
  2. Iwriter--  I am currently on this site as a writer, however there isn't a lot to write about starting out and I have only wrote 2 articles (both got rejected but didn't count against me). I have a pretty good rating of 3/5 stars by the people that wanted the articles (which pretty much means that they liked my articles but found one that they liked better). You can try this one out as well and see if you like it! Click here to go to the site and sign up!! Scroll down until you see become an iwriter today!!!

P.S.---If it's not too much to ask, if you try out one of these sites and like it would you please tell me that on my site (or email me!). I would love to hear how many people this article helps to make people some extra money!! Thanks! :)

Apps that you need for your Android Tablet!!!

Hey guys! Today's blog is all about some awesome apps that you all need to look into. I have a Galaxy Tab A tablet and I absolutely love these apps!! :)
  1. Pandora= A FREE music app that lets you listen to pretty much any type of music that you can name!! I love this app so much and use it daily when I am relaxing or when I doing some chores and errands. My favoirite thing to do with this app is to plug the aux cord into my tablet and then plug it into the car and then I can listen to Pandora on my car:) You can also get this app for your phone!
  2. Scribd= This is a book reading app that you have to pay $8.99 a month for but you can read up to a certain amount of books and listen to a certain amount of audiobooks a month for that price. You get one audiobook  a month and 3 books a month, however if you are like me and don't read a lot of books because you have a really busy schedule then you can rack up on audiobooks and books. An example of racking up on them is that for this month I have 8 monthly books allowed and 5 audiobooks allowed!! :)
  3. Ebay= This is a free shopping app and you can also sell stuff on here (I do, my account name is girly1996 if you wanna look me up). I have had both good and bad experiences with this app--just like any other shopping place--some things that I get are a rip-off and some things are actually pretty great for the price. Examples-- I ordered my fiance a PS2 game called Lord of the Rings (he is a big fan and he wants to play the older games) and it came shipped basically brand new, no scratches, with everything included for like $2.00 including shipping:) Another example would be a really cute pair of earrings that I ordered from there--they were cherry blossom earrings with cute little rhinestones-- and I got tons of compliments on them, only downside is that they turned green after like 5 months but I only paid $0.99 total for them. A bad example would be when I ordered this really cute red bikini with gold decorations on the sides....the bikini bottoms were falling apart and the bikini top had these weird spiral gold bungee like things on them and was too small (I ordered it in my size--a 34 D), in the pic it covered the boobs but in real life it covered nothing :((
  4. Receipt Hog= This a free app that you can use to upload your receipts from stores, restaurants, pretty much everywhere and you can redeem coins that can be turned into cash, tickets to win sweepstakes, and free lotto spins on a game called Hog Slots (which will reward coins and daily trips). It takes 1,000 coins to redeem $5, 1,800 coins to redeem $10, 3,200 coins to redeem $20, and 4, 500 coins to redeem $30.  But, why not turn receipts that you would normally throw away into cash?
  5. Water Drink Reminder= I love this app as it reminds me to drink more water!! You put in your weight and then it estimates how much water you need in a day. For 130 pounds, you need 65.8 oz of water a day. You can set alarms to remind you and you can link fitness devices to it if you are trying to lose weight.
  6. Sketchbook for Galaxy= I'm an artsy person and I love to sketch, paint, and color to my hearts content! This app is one of the most realistic drawing apps on the market, that I have found, and it has all sorts of tools and colors just waiting to be used.
  7. The Game of Life= I have loved this game since I was a small child, so when I found it on my tablet in the Play Store, I knew that I just had to buy it. I paid like $1.99 for it and the graphics and game play are pretty awesome. Try it out!
  8. Are you smarter than a 5th grader= I like the game show so I figured that I would play the FREE gaming app. I downloaded it onto my tablet and I like that you can challenge your friends or play solo.
  9. Deal or No Deal= I love the game show, so I figured why not? This game is pretty fun and I like to get my family together and we play the game together.
  10. Family Feud 2= My family and I love this game show, so I downloaded the app. This game is pretty fun, although not the best.
  11. Pawn Stars= This a free game that is based off of the television show, my fiance got me into playing this and I play it almost daily.
  12. The Walking Dead= Free game based off of the app, its a pretty fun game with decisions that need to be made. You can join a gang and interact with your game and build up your defenses.
  13. Surgeon 3= This is a silly, free, surgeon game. I get some laughs out of some of the situations and it can be quite challenging.
  14. Tiny Scanner= I couldn't find the power cord for my printer and I had to scan a document for college. I found this free app and gave it a try! It looked like a real scanned document and I could email it straight from this app.
  15. Wish= A free shopping app! I have heard mixed reviews on this app and have yet to order anything from it. The products that I have seen look nice and they have reviews but I don't know yet. I will order something off this app here soon and then write a review on my blog, so stay tuned!
  16. AVG Antivirus= This is an antivirus app that you can use to protect your tablet, it is free so it doesn't work as great as a paid version but it works pretty well.
  17. AVG Cleaner= This app helps to reduce junk on your tablet that you don't need, thus saving you space. It cleans out the cache's, cookie's, etc.
  18. 360 Security- This is a free antivirus app that you can download for either a tablet or a phone. I use two free apps to help with protection and they work pretty well together. You can use this app to boost your tablet or phone--which means to shut down battery draining apps and to clean junk off there. I like the way that this free app works and it is easy to use, so go try it out! :)
Anyway, I figured that I would give you guys something else to read, lol! I don't feel that great today so I probably won't be back on here until at least tommorow--depending on how I feel-- Have a great day/night! :)

PS3 Games that you need to play!!

Hey guys! As promised lol, here is the second part to PS3 games that you need to play! Like in my earlier post, I will provide a description and a video of the game from Youtube. I will also give the game a rating from 1-5 like in the other part of this post. Please keep in mind that these are my personal opinions and that they should be viewed as such.

Dead Island- "Fight every day as if it were your last" The tropical island of Banoi has been struck by a relentless zombie outbreak and you're caught in the midst of it. Survive the terror, explore the mystery, and maybe you will make it out of a paradise to die for. This game has great graphics, intense combat, a beautiful open world tropical island, vicious zombie hordes, and tons of gore!!! For the reasons listed, I give this game a 5/5. Watch the trailer here!

Dead Island Riptide- The second part to Dead Island! Hope is drowning. Get ready to return to zombie infected shores. Can you survive the impossible? Lots of actions with new skills and weapons. Explore Palanai, a new island filled with deadly quests and zombies. Fight the hordes alone or online with friends. This game has stunning graphics, another beautiful island, lots of action, some new zombies, new characters, and lots of zombie killing gore! I give this game a 5/5. You can watch the trailer here!

WatchDogs- I actually did not think that I would like this game, and I was right, I loved it!!! It kinda reminds me of grand theft auto--you can steal vehicles and kill people but with a futuristic touch--hacking into cameras, people's phones, car alarm systems, red lights, etc. Hacking is your weapon in this game! There are over 100 hacks to turn Chicago into your ultimate weapon. Play as Aiden Pierce, a brilliant hacker whose criminal past led to a violent family tragedy. Access omnipresent security cameras, download personal information to locate a target, control public transportation, and more!! I give this game a 5/5 and highly recommend it to any gamer!! You can watch the trailer here!!

L.A. Noire- I know that there are a lot of bad reviews on this game online and I just can't understand why?!? This game is a crime thriller that happens in the 1940's in Los Angeles (I have always been curious about the time period, and so being able to play a video game set in that time period was pretty cool!!!) This game is full of chases and shootouts and true detective work like interrogations and clue-finding. You play as a newly-minted officer named Cole Phelps and you are on a desperate search in a city where everyone has something to hide.I give this game a 4/5. You can watch a trailer here

Sleeping Dogs- Beneath the vibrant neon of this island metropolis exists a treacherous criminal underworld. You are Wei Shen, an undercover cop tasked with the infiltration and dismantling of a Triad criminal empire. Caught between your loyalty to the badge and a criminal code of honor you will play a very dangerous game. Undercover. The rules are different. This game actually suprised me, because I didn't think that I would like it. The fighting is kind of hard to get used to, as it is a lot of button pushing and is hand to hand combat instead of weapons. This game has pretty good graphics and a great storyline. There are gory scenes and explosions and some drama....AWESOME!!! This game makes you want to choose the side of the Triad, once you get to know the story more and more. This game is sort of like Grand Theft Auto. I give this game a 4/5. You can also kidnap people off the street and put them in the trunk of your lol:)  You can watch the trailer here!
