The Girl He Used To Know-- Book Review

Hello Everyone!

I am back with another book review and this time it is a book that is different from my normal taste (I normally read Thrillers, Action, Young Adult, etc.). The book is called "The Girl He Used To Know" and it is written by Tracey Garvis Graves. I would like to thank SheSpeaks and the author for my Advanced Readers Edition and the opinion in this review is my own.

This book definitely beat my expectations and it blew me away due to it being so unique and different from other books. The books main character has Autism Disorder which makes normal things quite difficult for her but she manages to continue to live an adult life (with some challenges of course). She goes to college where she meets the love of her life, she plays chess with the chess club (and is better at it then most), she volunteers to help animals (definitely my type of person) and other things that shows that she can function. When we hear about Autism it is normally about how the person "can't function" so I was glad to see a book challenge that stigma! I felt like I knew the main character and her boyfriend/love interest quite well as the book describes them quite well (including some of their thoughts and their lives). This book is about rediscovering love for someone (a 2nd chance at a relationship). The relationship between the main character and her boyfriend is definitely goals as you can see how protective he is of her, how he tries to help her, how he sometimes pushes her out of her comfort zone and how they grow together (I am glad that she reclaimed this relationship as it is definitely healthy and great for her!). I do not want to give away too many details as I hate to spoil books so I will end this with YOU SHOULD READ THE BOOK!

This review is a little late and I apologize for that as I needed to wrap my head around what I thought about this book while recognizing that it is different from my normal reads. I get a ton of products to review but I have memory problems + anxiety/depression so just bear with me 😂🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️👀 I will start with the physical appearance of the book-- I like the cover as it is clean but simple but the white cover gets dirty really easy even if stored on a bookshelf. The beginning of the book peaked my interest then lost for a bit but I did finish the whole book (keep in mind that this is not my normal action/drama/mystery/killer books). I liked how detailed the characters were and felt like I knew them in real life. I love that this book breaks boundaries and that the main character has Autism disorder and that we can view things from her perspective and a "normal" persons perspective. I did like the love story and am glad that she found someone that made her happy and tried to understand her + make her comfortable and happy. It makes me happy to hear a story about a woman with Autism who is a fully functioning adult and tends to function better than others at some things (like chess). I don't want to give too much of the story away but I am definitely an animal lover like the main character and relate better to them then people (due to my severe anxiety and depression). I would give this book 4 stars as it was an honest, clean and refreshing read ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I honestly feel that every woman should read this book and understand that true love has second chances and to never settle for a jerk because a real man will love you with all of him and will work to make you happy! 😍🙏💯💕 Thanks @stmartinspress and @shespeaksup for the Early Release and I apologize for the late (but super honest) review. Carefree Anti-Twist Liners Review & Freebie

Hello Everyone!

I'm back for another wonderful review and starting to catchup (finally!). This review is for the Carefree Anti-Twist Liners and thanks to Smiley360 for the free sample to review!

** The opinion featured here is my own and receiving free products does not influence that review as I have high standards of being truthful/honest. **

                      Sample I Received

These liners were great as they were absorbent (I'm a heavy bleeder), soft like cotton, they did not irritate my skin and they did not twist/bunch up (which lets be honest--- that sucks when it happens!!!). I was able to walk around with my dogs, go shopping and live a "carefree" life while on my monthly period and it was wonderful not having to worry about leaks and embarrassment. I even wore these liners with my favorite expensive Victoria Secret glitter band panties (that should tell you how trustworthy they are).

             Favorite Victoria Secret Panties

Thanks for checking out my review!!!
Click the word "freebie" below to go to a link and get a freebie of these liners (100% FREE)--- FREEBIE
